This show has already been so enlightening for me. It’s a comfort to know that really everybody has spending on their mind in some way. Maybe it creates a “we’re all in this together feeling “that I really like - great show
This show is so important in these times when people say things such as “no one wants to work anymore” or “stop using all your money on coffee” this bears the truth of it all. Not all come about and spend money the same and it’s important to be open to see others experiences especially if they are not the same as your own. I love how different each one has been and the honesty they all willingly share.
This podcast follows everyday people as they do a week long diary on what they spend their income on. This is very eye opening, especially hearing what people spend compared to their yearly salary. Hearing a diverse population with different spending habits is very insightful. The more recent podcast on the truck driver and working homeless is so good at showing the great divide in America and how people who do so much to serve others can have so little opportunity to just make a living wage.
As a finance nerd I’m always wondering about other people’s money. How they make it, how much they make and how they spend it. I love the mix of guests on this show and unlike others I don’t think there needs to be a segment on how to be better with their money. There are lots of other podcasts for that.
We strive to present a balanced view by showing a diverse range of reviews from Apple Podcasts.
