Personal Journals · Tana Mongeau
by Tana Mongeau
Brand Safe isn’t the Tana Mongeau you think it is. A little less mess, a lot more meaning. After years of living recklessly online, this is Tana—clearer, sharper, and more honest than ever. With the occasional detour into unfiltered territory and the willingness to be ruthless when necessary. Tana sits down for solo episodes, with her best friends, and with various (yet intentional) guests. Brand Safe is a look into Mongeau’s iPhone: Notes app tangents, real-life conversations with her friends, her team, her therapists, even her idols. Honest conversations about family, relationships, sobriety, fame, and everything else she’s learned the hard way. She introspectively walks you through the deals, the shoots, and the rants she almost posted. Brand Safe—according to her. It’s still Tana, just… recalibrated.

I have been a silent watcher of Tana since I was in high school, and now in college she is still my favorite person to watch, listen to, and unwind with. This new era of Brand Safe has honestly been my favorite it e of her eras, we all love the hectic, crazy Tana of her past years but this new older, more mature, wise, and accountable women is someone I aspire to be. I am genuinely a huge podcast listener, and whilst I liked Cancelled, and was an occasional listener, I am in love with Brand Safe and the raw emotions and wisdom that Tana reveals through her podcast. Just decided to leave a review, when I realized I was counting down the days till she released another episode. Among the other half dozen of podcasts I frequently listen to, the only one I wanted to listen to was hers.
Been following Tana since around 2017, almost a decade! I love hearing her talk. I love listening to her stream of consciousness and hear her work through her thoughts. She is so relatable and has been through so much that i can’t help but root for her. Keep it up Tana and Jake! These episodes are doing it for me and I haven’t missed a single one since it’s started. Can’t wait for more!!
Tana is probably one of the most engaging story tellers out there. Super fun to listen to, relatable and just plain hilarious. If you’re looking to consume anything she has never said she is, then you’re looking in the wrong place. Tana 2.0 is killing it.
