I go way back to the beginning as a fan of Michael Franks music. In 1973, radio station KNX-FM in LA where I grew up played cuts from his first album and I was intrigued. I immediately picked up The Art of Tea upon its release and it remains one of my all time favorite records. Many albums later and here arrives this podcast. Micheal has remained a bit of a mystery over the years so I’m thrilled to hear the back stories to his career and songs. He is as humble as you may expect but his sense of humor comes through easily in these candid conversations about his creative life. If you’re a fan, this podcast is for you.

As a former Detroiter (born & raised, but now living in Wisconsin), hearing about Michael's career from his own perspective is like hearing the BEST interview that I've always wanted. Kudos to Michael, and I hope this podcast continues!!
