For one , this show is hosted by one of my favorite rappers. In my era of adolescence I was listening to CNN and Nore heavy!!! So when I heard he had a podcast I had to tune in. The hip hop legends and other industry well known people are all on this podcast. I have listened to every guest. Some are better than others but also all are dope because you hear stories that you wouldn’t hear on normal podcasts. Hip hop stories, quick time with slime hands down this is a must listen to every episode type of podcast!!!
Not only being one of the most iconic hip hop artist, this show has become my salvation! Every interview has enlighten me to be the best at what I do. These podcasts has opened a new book for me to understand the music industry and to know the business. Some stories are good, some are bad, but the show is the truth! Real recognize real! And this Pod is the realest ! Stay humble and stay blessed - DJ Trae Nice
Just found this podcast recently and started listening to a few episodes , specifically the Snoop pod , the Game, 50 , etc. and I was super impressed with how good the interviews were. You can tell when guests come on this show , they can talk to NORE like a peer because he is of coarse, but they open up in a way that you would never hear in a publicity interview for an album or whatever. I’m a white dude but I’ve been listening to rap my whole life and to hear the back ground from some of these legends is really interesting. Glad I found this and I will keep it playin !!
So much inspiration and education about the industry with historical relevance and unpolished conversation. NORE and EFN balance each other well. Stay unprofessional and professional at the same time. Thanks - JBlongz
The hosts of this program have little to no integrity, and that’s perfectly showcased by the removed Ye interviews. Despite calling Ye a brother and great friend, N.O.R.E. disappeared at the first sign of backlash and did nothing to provide context to the situation. I understand the hosts wanted to protect their personal brand, but that says all you need to know about their character, or lack thereof. Beyond that point, these hosts are incredibly manipulative in the sense that the content of this show revolves around getting high profile figures to drink until intoxication. It should then come as no surprise that the hosts also provoke guests while their inhibitions are down in order to get good “content.” No friend nor brother of mine would ever abandon me in time of need, and if they did, they wouldn’t be worthy of such a title. Feel free to enjoy this show, but just know that these hosts don’t care about their guests or audience—only profit.
The two hosts are uninteresting. You should turn on a show to be entertained by the host. This show’s entertainment is purely contingent on who the guest is. Nore asks questions we already knew the answers to and tries to inject himself into every story for clout. He also interrupts everyone and it’s unprofessional, annoying and distasteful with regards to journalism. EFN has potential but often takes a back seat to Nore’s antics. The show started off with promise but I promise you, I won’t listen again.
