This Podcast has been very helpful to me specifically in my darkest days of my life. My wife all of a sudden want to be separated after 9 years with us having to kids and it’s been hard but this pod is what’s keeping me going besides my kids who I love and will continue to be there for them.
I’ve been a long-time listener and have heard many versions of the show, but this cast is the best combination of members. The topics are on point, the flow is great, and it feels like it’s just getting better.
Great crew, I always have to tune in to hear what they have to say about trending topics & music. I’m actually only here looking for the new episode right now.
The chemistry, the information in the way that its explained, the culture overtone with a dash of today’s news. You guys have found an ingredient that most podcasts can’t match. Keep it up
You play the absolute worse music in the middle of every conversation which makes the podcast quality not only so much worse, but it distracts from the seriousness of each topic or even the ability to stay interested in your conversation. You try to say this isn’t a music pod but 40 minutes of this show is the random playing of songs that are not only annoying but totally irrelevant. We want to hear your perspective on current events. Not how awful your taste in music is. Please correct this
I was a fan of Mona until she got into her rant about her kids not being able to be friends with white kids. I think her explanation makes her feel like it justifies the racism written all over her reasoning. I’ve been listening to this show since Rory and Mal and there was NEVER an episode where it made me feel this disgusted or uncomfortable and there were episode that straddled that line but there was always a light heartedness about it. Monas rant was dark, there was so much hate in her rant. Meanwhile white Parks is sitting there, Ish has a white partner (which makes his kids mixed) and half the employees at JBP are white. The Boss man Ian is white. Idk maybe I’ll take a break for a bit from the show. Who knows I might not come back. The show also has been getting way more political to my liking. Mona’s funny but they should have her as a special guest, rather than a regular co host.
