Defected Radio - Podcast Rankings and reviews

This podcast is one of only 2 I have given 5 star reviews. The other is bargrooves. In my personal library, this is one of a playlist of just 4 podcasts, that are my very favorite. It has taken me a long time to find just what I've been looking for in music. I've been into trance, but House is the thing that's good for my soul. This podcast is mostly house but with a trance flavor too which is like an electrifying combination. Trance is sexy and House lovely. Put them together and I'm never looking for anything else. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I’ve been listening for years and it’s a great crew. For me the highlight is always Sam. She picks and mixes GREAT tracks. She gives just the right amount of info and plays the tracks through (I.e. they are not cut short) so you feel the music. Her knowledge of the history of house (and I have to say all the Defected presenters have this) is impeccableand she is not afraid to go new directions, yet she never loses the fun that makes people dance and smile. Thanks Sam and thanks everyone!

House/Dance music is alive and strong and is making a major comeback thanks to labels like Defected. Some people don't truly understand House Music..it's a feeling..a body thang..and soul thang. It's one of the only forms of music where you can dance how you want, wear what you want and be who you are and no one judges you. The podcasts are awesome! Defected is the bomb! This is my main source for getting the latest and hottest house music. I look forward every week to listening to the Defected podcast. I miss Aaron Ross,but the Copyright boy's are holding it down!

While the music is undoubtedly great there are problems getting to it. Downloads are SLLOOOWWW and previous shows as early as dec aren't accessible anymore. Eg. The three shows with last years top 50. Most of the time previous shows won't even download of they're over 3-4weeks old. I love this podcast but they need to sort themselves out!!
