Questlove Supreme episodes have blown my mind more consistently than any other podcast. So much great music has fallen by the wayside in our culture and has been left to collect dust on shelves. The Pointer Sisters should OBVIOUSLY be in the rock n roll hall of fame. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis were MUSIC GODS. Questlove Supreme doesn’t give in to the narrative of what’s “cool” as has been defined by the tastemakers of the past. Blue Magic and Whodini RULED (Thank you Jermaine Dupri episode). If you are a crate digger or just someone who loves great music, this podcast is HEAVEN. Thank you for being awesome.
Thank you Questlove Supreme for the much informative episodes! I learned a lot about the artists that I like (Thank you also for getting the interviews for Jimmy Jam, Greg Phillinganes, and ESPECIALLY Randy Jackson, among others). You guys helped make my work days go by quickly. Sad to see it come to an end, but excited to see what you guys have in store in the future! I hope for the best in everyone’s endeavors!
Great podcast but why are the ads so loud? You have to increase the volume to hear the interviews and then turn it down when the ads come on or else they’re startlingly loud. Definitely takes away from enjoying the show
I’ve enjoyed every episode and have learned so much. The conversations are interesting, thoughtful and flow really naturally. I’d love to hear an episode with Hamid Drake as guest - I’m not sure how to suggest that so putting it here. He’s an amazing artist and has great insights.
