Been listening to tell em Steve Dave for awhile now and this is what podcasting should be, no script, just friends messing around and supporting each other and hanging around. Don’t ever change!! As a Wildland firefighter, the days are long but at the end of the day TESD just helps me unwind.
Been listening to Tell ‘em Steve-Dave! since episode one also subscribe to the Patreon the boys never not deliver a great show, episodes are always hilarious and consistent sense of humor always keeps me coming back for more. Plus the characters Walt seems to find our some of the best rouges gallery out there.
I first discovered the crew during high school, when comic book men first premiered and I was instantly hooked on the guys. Their brutal honesty, true friendship and comedy, immediately hooked me and I found TESD. Since then and even after the early cancellation of comic book men, I have become a lifelong fan of TESD and I have also become a huge fan of IJ. I especially love the work that Walt does for all of the games that are played on the show. The aggravation and frustration from both Bryan and Q, is some of the funniest content on any podcast. Keep bringing back Dyslexia!!! I also enjoy all of the additional crew that is involved, especially 148, Sunday Jeff and Frank 5! Without these collection of people, the show wouldn’t be the same. On a personal note. Over the past 10 years of listening, I have found that TESD has helped guide me through tough times. As someone who is now sober, it was comforting to hear the honesty from Bryan and know that people aren’t alone in this struggle. Also, as a fan of comic book men, and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community…… I don’t think there were enough gay jokes about Mike and Ming!!!!!
I found these guys first with the comic book men tv show loved every bit of it and i continuously rewatch it over and over wish i had a physical Blu-ray copy but if digital is the only way then thats what it is. I started listening to TESD about a year ago i left a job that was making me miserable and got a job that ended up being worse. for now I'm stuck there but its making issues i already had before then worse (Im diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety and PTSD through the VA) I didn't know i had a way to listen to podcasts through my phone but once i found out i could i downloaded the podcast app and instantly looked for TESD and just like the comic book men show these guys can bring a smile to my face and make me feel like everything will be ok. And yes i also started to watch impractical jokers after listening to TESD which is a great show to get a good laugh also! If you guys read these reviews i would just like to thank you for helping me feel better in my life even if its for a short time.
Long time fan of these fun guys chatting, but as a gay guy that feels like a dagger is plunged in my chest every time I hear the word “gay” used in a derogatory way, I can no longer listen to these guys. Bryan Johnson insist on continuing to use it in that was and the other guys don’t call him out, which means they’re cool with it. Super disappointing. I’m all for being iconoclastic, but there’s a line.
