Been listening to Adam since the Love Line days with Dr. Drew. He says how he feels, and often it’s exactly how I feel. He just knows how to spell out common sense which is shockingly non-existent nowadays!

Alright, lemme tell ya something about Adam Carolla, man. Back in the day, this guy was like the everyman philosopher, you know, the dude who’d rant about traffic, home improvement, and why it’s impossible to find a decent plumber who shows up on time. He was the guy at the bar who could break down both sides of an argument like he was playing ping-pong with himself, right? The ol’ What Can’t Adam Complain About? bit classic. He was everyone’s cranky uncle, but like, the fun one who knows how to fix your garbage disposal.
But now? The dude’s on full tilt. It’s like success handed him a megaphone and a Fox News subscription. He’s still sharp, don’t get me wrong—he can out-logic a Mensa meeting—but the nuance? Gone. Now it’s all “Let me tell you why everything’s broken, and it’s their fault.” Feels like he traded in the Craftsman toolbox for a political soapbox.
Still, you listen ‘cause the guy’s got that blueprint for common sense comedy. But sometimes, you miss the old days when he’d just yell about low-flow showerheads and bad coffee instead of filibustering every episode.

Since the K Rock days! Still a worthy listen. Changes and challenges have brought Adam to a place I don’t hate. The long form interviews are worthy of a listen. He’s found his rhythm in this new place he’s landed and I’m in! Still love the rants! The Mike Rowe interview was great! As was the Kevin Costner. I’m proud of what you have become…just in case no one has said it to you, I am!

I am a 10+ year listener of ACS, but it is becoming harder and harder to stick with it. I actually really like Adam’s rants about his parents, LA, red turn arrows, etc, etc, but lately it’s all of the same and nothing new and far too much dwelling on Covid. I also miss the fun lighthearted parts of the show like Rotten Tomatoes Game, Blah Blah Blog, Tales from the Cheap, Huell’s Jewels, Rich Banks songs, etc. Adam is a very talented and quick witted comedian, but the show feels too “heavy” now. And your tribute to Bald Bryan was “mid” at best. I will continue to listen to ACE awards shows from the past, which are comedy gold, but sadly will need to find a new daily podcast. Wake up, Adam! Even us conservatives have had enough. Go back to your roots!

I’ve been a fan for years - have hardly missed an episode. Lately, however, every episode sounds the same. Hunter Biden’s laptop, Adam was right about COVID, etc etc. I tend to agree with Adam politically, but it’s getting hard to listen to the same thing on every episode. Sounds like I’m being lectured to.
I think dismissing Bald and Gina was the wrong call. The show was more entertaining with some diversity of opinion (and the drops!).
I’ve started to skip episodes that I can tell will just be all politics, no comedy. I’ve heard everything Adam has to say on that.
I’m a fan, but I don’t know that I will listen for much longer. Hoping you shift back to a more entertaining format.
