Cate’s ADHD content never fails to validate so many of my lived experiences. I’ve been sending episodes to my husband because they do such a great job explaining how I walk through the world. I love this show and these interviews. I often wish they were longer but I’m glad they’re kept to about a half hour, making them easy to listen to in short bursts.
Love this podcast! Cate is a great interviewer and the guests are fabulous. The episode length at around 30 minutes is great as it’s just long enough to really get into detail about the subject matter but short enough that I can listen while doing daily tasks.
I’ve been following Cate’s endeavors the last few years and I’m glad to have them back to podcasting. Finding them helped me realize I’m not alone in my struggles with AuDHD and I can’t overstate how much that helps.
This is SUCH an amazing first episode and I can’t wait for the next episode! Besides being an incredibly smart and engaging host, there is good advice for navigating life as a ND person or someone who has neurodivergent people in their life that they care about and/or love! As a Gen-Xer it was AMAZINGLY affirming to hear so many experiences I had in my life articulated! There were so many things I thought were singular experiences or internal monologues and discussions I thought made me weird or peculiar that I felt a bit mentally lonely going through life. Even with a spouse, a kid, and friends, I would feel a bit like an outsider. Hearing that others have similar experiences, thought patterns, and internal chatter was a FANTASTIC and touching listen! Can’t wait for Episode Two! ^_^
