More than Milestones

by Kaitlin Rickerd

Hosted by pediatric physical therapist, wife and mom of three, Dr. KC Rickerd, More Than Milestones is the podcast that goes beyond baby checklists and dives deep into real motherhood, real development, real relationships, and everything in between. Whether you’re supporting your baby’s motor development, navigating big kid emotions, or navigating a new stage of life & parenting, this show blends expert-backed education with the honest, unfiltered reality of motherhood. Each week, KC brings you conversations with trusted professionals—pediatricians, therapists, sleep and feeding experts, mental health pros, and more—plus raw, relatable stories from fellow moms and caregivers. No pressure to be perfect. Just honest conversations, support, humor, and community for the journey you’re on. If you're looking for clarity, connection, and a reminder that while supporting our children’s development is important, so is supporting ourselves - you’re in the right place, because it’s always more than milestones.

What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I'm looking forward to listening to future podcast episodes! I've followed you on Instagram since we were raising our pandemic babies, and you filled a gap for me while I struggled to get them the PT/OT they needed. Now I just enjoy the day-to-day parenthood chat.

EB reviews · Sep 2025

Ive been a long time IG follower and have been on a SM hiatus. KC is one of the accounts that I would check in with daily, especially after having my son, who was born about a week apart from hers. I really appreciated “going through” the experience with someone as a first time mom. Now I’m on my second and still use the master classes and just love the “motherhood” portion of her channel. I’m so happy to have that here in podcast form. Thank you for talking about all of this stuff, especially the beginning episodes, they really resonate with me. I look forward to following along on this podcast journey!

BrinaaBear · Sep 2025

I have followed KC for awhile and was excited to see she started a podcast. I’m loving the episodes and learning more about parenting and feeling less alone about the stuff I go through!

deb41996 · Sep 2025

KC’s podcast feels like a warm hug from a friend. This show is a refreshing listen in what can sometimes feel like the chaotic, overwhelming, craziness of parenting. I’m adding this one to my weekly “must listen” list!
