UPDATE: I cannot even begin to tell you the relief I felt when I saw this on my podcast feed. Thank you for not making us go through this hellscape without you, after all! Before there were podcasts, I watched the Golden Girls when I needed comfort. Then there were podcasts and you were my Golden Girls. Thanks for that. 😭❤️

I found Knowledge Fight in one of the most cursed ways possible, which honestly feels very fitting: through a random Discord post from a friend of a friend who dropped a link about Alex Jones talking about Pizzagate. Now, I already knew who Alex Jones was. His name was impossible to avoid during the Sandy Hook years, especially back when YouTube felt like the Wild West and almost anything could end up uploaded. I remember seeing the controversies, the conspiracy theories, the arguments, and the absolute chaos surrounding him — including the interviews and interactions he had with the families of the Sandy Hook victims. So when I saw a post about Alex Jones and Pizzagate, my curiosity immediately kicked in. I thought, “Oh no… I know this name. I need to know what is happening here.” And that’s how I found Knowledge Fight. I don’t remember the exact first episode I listened to, but I do remember laughing at how absurd everything was. The thing that hooked me wasn’t just the ridiculousness of Alex Jones — it was Dan and Jordan. The dynamic between them was instantly fascinating. Dan’s ability to calmly and meticulously explain years of Alex Jones’ nonsense while Jordan reacted with the exact level of disbelief and chaos that the situation deserved was perfect. Dan would bring the research, the receipts, and the timeline. Jordan would bring the “ARE YOU HEARING THIS RIGHT NOW?” energy. Somehow, together, they created a show that was hilarious while still taking the damage Alex Jones causes seriously. Naturally, instead of just listening to random episodes, I decided the only reasonable thing to do was start from the beginning. And I’m so glad I did. Knowledge Fight became one of my favorite things to listen to during my time working at Amazon. Ten-hour shifts surrounded by constant machinery noise were not exactly a dream environment, and I desperately needed something to keep my brain occupied. That’s where Dan and Jordan came in. There is something incredibly funny about trying not to laugh at work because Jordan is screaming about something completely unhinged while Dan is laughing in the background or calmly explaining another layer of Alex Jones nonsense. It was the kind of show that made long shifts feel a little less miserable. One of my favorite moments was hearing Alex play clips from his own show — especially when he would play a clip of someone else speaking and then interrupt himself every few seconds to scream some completely unrelated nonsense. The fact that he would pause his own evidence just to spiral was incredible. I remember laughing so hard at one of those moments that I replayed it multiple times because it was just the perfect example of why Knowledge Fight worked so well. Dan and Jordan understood the assignment. They understood that Alex Jones is both dangerous and absurd. They didn’t just make fun of him; they documented him. They showed patterns, tracked the lies, explained the history, and gave people the context needed to understand how someone like Alex Jones operates. But they also never forgot that sometimes the only appropriate response to certain things is a deep sigh followed by laughter. That balance is what made the show special. Dan’s dedication to research and detail paired perfectly with Jordan’s humor, emotion, and genuine disbelief. Their friendship and chemistry carried the entire show. It felt like listening to two friends sitting down and saying, “Can you believe this guy?” except one of those friends had a mountain of documentation ready to prove exactly why you should not believe this guy. I’m currently only around episode 370 on the Podcasts app, which makes this ending feel especially funny because for years I wondered: What would happen to Knowledge Fight if Alex Jones’ show ever ended? Well… now we know. The end of Knowledge Fight feels bittersweet, especially with everything surrounding the end of InfoWars and The Onion’s involvement in that saga. After so many years of covering Alex Jones, it feels strange that this chapter is closing. But at the same time, I’m incredibly grateful that this show existed for as long as it did. Because honestly? What are the odds that a random Discord link about Pizzagate would lead me to one of my favorite podcasts? I’ve recommended this show to friends whether they wanted to hear about Alex Jones or not. That is the power of a good podcast: sometimes you don’t know you need something until someone throws you into the weirdest possible rabbit hole. And luckily for me, I still have hundreds of episodes left to enjoy. As long as the Podcasts app keeps those episodes available, I’ll still have plenty of Dan and Jordan breaking down Alex Jones’ greatest hits. Thank you, Dan and Jordan, for the research, the humor, the chaos, the chemistry, the inside jokes, and the many moments where I probably looked ridiculous laughing to myself while listening. Thank you for making something informative without making it miserable. Thank you for making something funny without ignoring the seriousness behind it. Thank you for years of exposing nonsense while somehow making the process entertaining. Knowledge Fight was a strange little corner of the internet that turned into something genuinely special. And yes, technically The Onion may have helped bring the InfoWars chapter to a close — but Knowledge Fight spent years making sure people understood exactly what Alex Jones was doing. So thank you for the memories, the laughs, the screaming, the research, and the emotional damage. Five stars for the podcast. Ten stars for Jordan yelling. And a lifetime achievement award for surviving Alex Jones.

It was a pleasure, gents. Listened to every episode except the latest because endings are so difficult and knowing that such a wonderful podcast that ended up helping bring some justice to the Sandy Hook families is over breaks the heart. You did good work, Dan and Jordan. Proud to be a fan.

I’ve enjoyed the show from the first to the final episode. Dan and Jordan made getting up in the morning in dire times worthwhile. I’ll miss the show, but thank you, gents; you two and Celine and your wonderful guests kept me free from the tentacles of the dark side of the Internet, and I’ll never forget that. I wish both of you success in all future endeavors.

Unfortunately, one of the hosts can be extremely judgmental and presumptuous about Ch****ians (censoring because mentioning rel*g**n can get comments wiped). He confidently states his opinion as fact, and it’s always a wild overgeneralization. C is a large family of relig*ons that includes traditions with the literal opposite beliefs of each other. Acting like all Cs are anti women, anti queer, right-wing literalists is inaccurate and harmful. I put up with it for a while because I otherwise really like the show, but I just don’t want to be involved with this kind of behavior.
