Michelle Obama and Craig’s new podcast, IMO is an absolute gem—both grounding and profoundly relevant. It delves into a wide range of topics, from family dynamics and relationships to the pursuit of happiness, all while offering nuggets of wisdom that feel both deeply personal and universally applicable. The chemistry between Michelle and her brother, Craig, adds a wonderful layer of warmth and authenticity, making each episode feel like an insightful conversation with old friends. I find myself referencing episodes to my 11-year-old, encouraging them to listen to the impactful advice and life lessons that are shared so naturally throughout the show. With each episode, I’m reminded that it’s not just a podcast—it’s a collection of teachable moments that resonate long after the final words. I am such a fan!!!

I really enjoy this show and appreciate how Michelle, Craig, and their guests bring a range of thoughtful perspectives to deeply relatable human experiences. It’s hard to take some of the negative reviews seriously—they often seem rooted in political bias or snap judgments based on out-of-context social media clips.
Michelle stands out for the empathy she brings to callers’ challenges. She comes across as a real, grounded person, while also being clear and self-aware about her position of privilege. I’ve never found her “whiny”; instead, she shares her views with balance and honesty. Her candor shows that no matter your background, we all deal with many of the same emotional struggles.

I’m so happy I found IMO! I love to listen while gardening. Both Michelle and Craig have wonderful insights and their sibling ties are sweet and endearing. Their banter reminds me of my beloved brother who died two years ago. They’re smart, savvy, and their upbringing is so relatable. I recommend this to everyone I know!
