What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I wish we could make it mandatory for every parent signing their kids up for travel sports to listen to this podcast. It’s so easy to get caught up in the craziness of youth sports. This podcast provides valuable perspective!

mrsjukes · May 2025

As a father of three children under the age of six who are beginning to embark on their youth sports journey, I’ve been concerned with how some other parents treat youth sports. This podcast brings such great unique voices and experiences to share how best to raise your kids. Can’t recommend enough!

SportsDrew · May 2025

I am so grateful I stumbled across this guy on IG. We are just starting our youth sports journey with our 8 year old and we were not athletes… this is completely new territory for us and having this knowledge is amazing! Thanks from a hockey/soccer/baseball mom in Minnesota 😅🙂

Cochy115 · Apr 2025

As a social worker, a former mediocre high school gymnast and softball player, and a parent to a 10U AA baseball player, I often get frustrated with the coaching, parenting and lack of care for kids mental health in sports. I binge listened to all available podcast episodes and plan to send the show to the team. Lots of good advice and reminders for parents, even for those like me who know better, but can still fall into the trap of toxic youth sports.
