I found these guys through a demo they did of a pedal I had been keeping tabs on since it was announced. I checked out the podcast and went back and marathoned the 10 most recent episode and was immediately hooked. Listening to this podcast is like chatting about gear with the members of my band. It’s light hearted, informative, and these guys know their gear. I get something worthwhile from every single episode. Informative AND entertaining. I’m on board!

I've learned a lot about guitar hardware from 60 cycle hum. Ryan and Steve put great work into production and you can hear the difference in their early vs established episodes. Highly recommend for anybody interested in guitar tech, hardware and humor.

Love the format, the banter, and the content. Few podcasts can make me laugh till my face hurts. This is one of them.

What’s better than playing the guitar? Nothing… But when you can’t play, talking about playing is the second best thing. Listening to Ryan & Steve talk about guitars and gear is almost like talking to my jam buddies about guitars and gear. Their show makes even the most boring afternoons at work tolerable.

I used to love this podcast then they made it a point to start drinking during the podcast. Now they seem to go more and more off on other subjects and on weird tangents it’s also a real turn off to actually be able to hear them drinking through the mic. Good luck to you guys, I have unsubscribed.

I’ve listened for a year or so now and it’s been mildly entertaining to listen to them comment on ads for guitars and basses being sold. I’m done for awhile though because, even though I’m not the biggest Rush fan, having listened to them be so degrading and dismissive to the album 2112 just a couple of weeks after Neil Peart passes away struck me as distasteful.
