Chicane is simply the best at striking the exact chord in-between chill and energy. The beautifully layered sounds and vocals tied together by amazing transitions and shifts often gives me goosebumps. For these reasons I was so excited to hear that Chicane is mixing his own podcast and am looking forward to discovering new music in his space. I do agree to do away with the overproduced voiceovers while Chicane is good at announcing the tune and a little background.

Fantastic set of tracks for me to listen to while I’m at work. I’m also a long time fan of Chicane over in the States, having stumbled across Chicane many years ago now through falling in love with ‘Offshore’ on the old Space N Bass compilation disks. I am also very grateful for these podcasts. But unlike Doopi’s comment below, I’m definitely in favor of Nick’s comments on the various songs and some backstory if he has it. I listen to these podcasts for his commentary as much as for the fantastic and often elegant music he features. Sure, cut down on the station IDs but don’t stop the informative commentary, please…anything to hand us new recommended tracks and to inform us on the next feature dates are welcome in my book.

This podcast is different than all the other EDM/Trance/Dance music podcasts out there. I love the film score parts and this podcast is an amazing musical experience an opportunity to explore different and beautiful music.

A great show with great music. After listening to lots of DJ mixes, this show is a fun change of pace. In the radio-format style, but with all the elements of a DJ with true taste — not what all the lemmings are saying and playing. Keep up the great work Nick!

I'm a long time fan of Chicane, and a was grateful to discover these new podcasts. Unfortunately, he talks between the tracks, and also plays annoyingly grating 'station identification' type announcements, such as: "Sun:Sets, Sun:Sets, Sun:Sets. THIS is the sound of Chicane, Sun:Sets....". Why??? After listening to the first 3 podcasts, I unsubscribed. If you are OK with being annoyed between great tracks, you'll be OK subscribing. I much prefer Resident Advisor podcasts, with no bs talk. I think he should embed some copy in the podcast which can be read, including some track info, and where he'll next be playing, and just keep the podcast to the MUSIC!
