I have been listening for years but never wrote a review. The American experience really comes thru in the music of this podcast. The bands that are invited to this venue are the best in their genres. The history and depth of American music is just a Byproduct of listening to this great music. This is the best Americana, blues, country and singer/songwriter music that can still be heard live with some older stuff from artists that have left us. There is also some world music thrown in here and there but the American experience and protest music , that is extremely thoughtful and well done , is the heart of this podcast. An extra bonus is Mr Bob Thompson on piano. He is the best in the business. Julie Adams and Ryan Kennedy are some additional favorites of the House band. Don’t miss the finale song each podcast as everyone gets involved and showcases true musical talent that has paid their dues in the music business. There are no amateurs or newbies here. Only the real deal.

Like a night in the mountains- cool, crisp, refreshing and clean. Every episode presents some amazing artists, old favorites and new talent. Sometimes funny, sometimes heart wrenching, always the best part of my week.
Put it on around the campfire or fire pit some breezy autumn evening and experience what life is all about.
