I love James’s work and YFT is as great as ever. Wonderful sound design, emotional nuance, great spaces and worlds created…so good. Audio fiction can be cringe, but this is a bright spot in the space. Not the creators’ fault, but 2:30 of ads before the first episode is rouuughhh! C’mon iHeart…

This show has potential. High production value, good sound design. What I think is lacking: the writing and dialogue isn't quite realistic, kinda caricaturish of what real people might sound like. Also the acting isn't quite up to par. I do like the ethnic diversity. It's kind of like The Truth but with diverse voices.

The audio experience is bar none the best I’ve heard on podcast. Immersive, engaging, and so lifelike. Headphones on. It’s ASMR but fiction? Audiophile?
