I listen to a lot of podcasts. Like…A LOT. I can use earbuds most of the time while I’m working, so I listen to at least 40 hours per week, sometimes more. Lately I’ve realized that Scare You to Sleep is my favorite one. It’s always my first choice when a new episode pops up. I love Shelby‘s voice and the content she writes and chooses are top notch. I particularly enjoyed the heartbreaking subtlety of this week‘s ep, Sensory Deprivation. I really do wish I could listen to these stories as I fall asleep, but I love them too much to risk missing anything. I also really appreciate the sound effects on the outro. Overall sound quality and editing are also 10/10 to my taste. You are doing a great job! Thank you!

This podcast has everything you could want in a horror-themed listening experience: fictional stories, true stories, historical tales, and my personal favorites are her original stories that she writes herself and her Dark Reddit compilations. Shelby works so hard to put everything together and her voice is both soothing and compelling. I love everything about the show and will always come back for more.

Long time listener and a huge fan of Shelby’s. She is, hands down, one of the BEST narrators I’ve ever heard. The relaxing, stripped down presentation of perfectly curated stories makes this one of my very favorite anthology series. One tiny bit of feedback would be to request more fiction and a little less dark Reddit and true horror. Shelby has such an effective way of bringing a story to life and would also love to hear more of her own original tales - they’re outstanding. Brava!
