What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I’ve been doing various forms of table reads for over 40 years now and I’ve found it to be the best possible way to give actors and writers a chance to experience live the possibility that exists to turn this gathering of talent who are sitting together reading a script into the reality of then getting a chance to realize it into the play or film that it was hopefully destined to become. It’s the best possible way to explore new material and this podcast is the best way of making that happen. I applaud all those connected with this organization and I’m thrilled to have been and hope to continue to be a part of the process. Joe Mantegna

My feelings about Table Read · May 2026

Hear what’s like inside actual table reads with professional actors. Raw, candid and spirited script interpretations. Writers, actors or just the curious will find the podcast informative and entertaining.

Union Rad · May 2026

Ever wonder what it’s like to sit in on a table read for a new script? Well, wonder no more. Table Read Podcast is one of those rare finds that instantly pulls you in. The scripts they choose are top notch, the production is really well done, and the acting is consistently great. Every episode feels like you're sitting in the room while talented people bring a script to life in real time, finding the humor, tension, awkwardness, heartbreak, all of it. It’s entertaining in that really satisfying way where you can tell everyone involved genuinely loves what they do. Always a fun listen.

Within a medium such as an audio Podcast, and storytelling, the key is ‘instant connection.’ That what the TableRead Podcast delivers. How? With clearly a strong focus on the written material and the talent asked to perform. The only way to engage and hold an audience in this arena is through the deep commitment within the artists who sincerely perform to ‘meet the moment’ and they do, every time. Congrats and thank you!
