This podcast is pure gold!! Insights are short, concise, and on point. The information ranges from Domestic to Global equities and bonds. Although typically under 5 minutes, each podcast is packed with great insights and I often find myself listening to an episode 2 or 3 times. It is an excellent listen for those wanting to keep a pulse on what’s happening in markets and for professionals alike. Great job!! Keep it coming!!

He does his research, his analyses are consistently well-reasoned, and he has the guts to buck the market consensus. I also appreciate his generosity in so frequently sharing his views with the investing public.

I really enjoy these pieces during my commute. They’re short and packed with information. There’s so much news out there and things to catch up on. I feel this is a great way to get information in a manageable way.

Criteria for audio rating: Sonorous, loud, full and rich, projection of voice, crisp & clear. 5 of 5 meets all criteria. If listener has to strain to hear speaker, 0 out of 5. I also consider how effectively speaker makes use of time; i.e., long pauses, lots of uuums and uuuuhs, deviation from point, beating around the bush, and general elocution. About 99% emphasis on audio quality. I use podcast Money Matters with Ken Moraif as 100% standard of AUDIO SOUND QUALITY ONLY, that gets 5 out of 5 rating.
Criteria for content: how is this info unique and different from what I can glean from a google search? What advantage can I gain that I can’t from google search? If info is unique & helps elucidate complex and esoteric ideas, gets 5 out of 5. If info is just stuff that can be pretty much read off google searches, gets 0 out of 5. I place 1% emphasis on content (good info is useless if can’t be heard or understood).
Audio for this podcast is 1/5. Speakers have heavy foreign accents, that are hard to understand at times. Audio is very soft and I need to strain to hear the info. Very sad with today’s technology. Very poor projection of voice. Now, there are diverse hosts on here, and my review is for the majority of them.
Content rating: 0 out of 5 because I can only decipher about 50% of what they’re saying; even less if speaker has strong accent. From what I can hear, all I hear is technical jargon without any explanations. Fine; they’re catering to people who are hip to that, but the vast majority aren’t. So, why bother listening?
In general: I wouldn’t waste my time on this podcast. Better options: Yahoo Finance (though not a podcast), Seeking Alpha, Barron’s Streetwise.

I have respect for commentators like Andrew Sheets but these 6 month prospective outlook commentaries should be coupled with a review of how outlooks from 6 months ago worked out.
Unfortunately, the house view 6 months ago related to equities turned out to be very, very wrong. And I am a fan of your work.
So have a show that analyzes where the mistakes were made, models turned out wrong, etc. and what’s changed if anything. That will give more credibility to forecasts going forward. In the absence of that, simply doing 6 months outlooks with no thoughtful retrospective analysis is just a sell job that when it actually turns out right, may be due to nothing but luck.
Thanks.
