I have been a listener, off and on, from the beginning. I love the addition of Ginger! Not only is it great to have a female voice in this space (so many great FI women, but podcasts still feel male-dominated), but Ginger specifically brings fantastic energy and insight. Keep it up! More Ginger! ;)
I’ve been listening to this show for almost 3 years and it’s a core staple of my podcast library. I’ve learned so much from Brad, Jonathan, and their guests, and while I’ve always been fairly frugal, it has absolutely shaped my financial decisions as someone in my mid-twenties. I am a stay at home mom, so although we are likely decades from true FI, I know that I am living my dream already!
Love this show and it’s been so helpful in envisioning a FI life. I really like episodes where you have a guest who shares their journey. Brad is a great interviewer. He gets stuck sometimes on a few stories that we’ve heard over and over but that’s ok. I also enjoyed Ginger’s takeover eps. She seems like a delightful person!!
I owe a lot to Brad (and Jonathan). My wife and I are coming up on millionaire status any minute and a lot of that is due to the things I’ve learned in the ChooseFi community. Outstanding work!
I’ve been listening to this podcast for years. It’s just so contradictory and unhelpful financial information. The hosts regularly fight with guests who know more than them. The only host that’s left just repeats reddit nonsense—not even the good parts of Reddit. If that’s your thing then give it a listen. It’s just tech finance bro paradise here. I’m out. You’d be better of listening to How To Money, Clark Howard, or Ramsey
This podcast started awesome the first few years with Brad and Jonathan. They talked strategies and concepts that were incredibly helpful and insightful. But the core concepts have now been covered, many on this journey HAVE reached FI and so now the podcast has essentially evolved into “How else do we optimize and find meaning in life?” type topics (I’ll spare you my rationale for why y’all keep searching endlessly). Minus Jonathan and now with Rachel, Ginger and some other females pitching in, the podcast now feels like I’m sitting in on a conversation between middle aged women I was never invited to (and don’t want to be there for). There are gem episodes every now and again yet….but they are increasingly fewer and further between. The first 200 episodes were gold.
