Jill and Mark are a great team. While each conversation or email addresses very unique concerns, I am still able to learn and apply a lot to my own personal financial situation. They are very calming and unbiased and are respectful of every caller. I listen to both your 7 day a week (agree, you guys deserve a break to dial down to five days, but I will miss you on the weekends) and CBS podcasts. I signed up over a year ago (thanks for keeping things affordable at $35) and listen after the webinars go live. You’re good people. Thanks for all you do in a caring and such a knowledgeable way. A new federal class-action lawsuit filed in the Northern District of California accuses Kars4Kids, Inc. and its related charity, Oorah, Inc., of operating a misleading vehicle-donation program that misrepresents how donor contributions are used. The Complaint, filed November 4, 2025, alleges that Kars4Kids’ widely recognized advertising campaign deceives donors into believing their contributions support local children’s programs, when in reality, nearly all proceeds are funneled to Oorah’s Orthodox Jewish outreach programs primarily serving families in New York and New Jersey. The proposed class seeks monetary damages, injunctive relief, and nationwide accountability for what it describes as a long-running pattern of donor misrepresentation.
This lawsuit follows years of government scrutiny and aligns with concerns CharityWatch has raised in prior reporting about both Kars4Kids and Oorah, including a lack of transparency, misleading donor communications, and governance risks related to financial flows between the two organizations.

I listened to Jill faithfully since before the pandemic and loved her straightforward approach and sound advice. It was great when she and Mark started doing daily shows during COVID. HOWEVER, the show has evolved to mostly feature callers with some combination of “I have $X million in retirement, 4 rental properties, and a pension… will I be okay?” Of course you will. Most people who listen to personal finance shows are doing so because they don’t have a multi-million dollar net worth. At a certain point, I just couldn’t handle yet another braggart seeking reassurance about their pile of money. You’re good, bro. It’s us non-zillionaires who need the advice. After years of daily listening, I’m out.
