What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

This is the only podcast I listen to every single episode. Paula and Joe explain money concepts so clearly on the Q&A episodes. The interview style episodes always get me excited about that person’s ideas. And the first Friday episodes are my favorite way to get economic news. Thank you Paula!

DDR747 · Aug 2026

I’ve listened to Paula since at least 2014, and to this day Afford Anything is one of my favorite podcasts in the wealth and self improvement space. The guests are all high quality and the interviews are compelling, but more than that is how absolutely down to earth Paula is in her perspective on money, time management, and even politics. She’s such a realist at the end of the day, and it’s a great touch-grass kind of vibe that’s only improved with time. I’ll subscribe until she rolls up the shop, Afford Anything has more than earned time in my podcast rotation each week.

You won’t find a better interviewer in this space than Paula Pant. If you’re interested in personal finance and/or real estate investing, look no further! ✨

Charlotte CM · Jun 2026

I have been listening for year. I appreciate Paula’s thoughtful approach to complex problems. She and Joe Saul-Sehy in their question-and-answer sessions review considerations needed to make the best decisions, acknowledging there is nuance in personal finance. A simple one-size-fits all is not always the best answer. Paula’s interviews are also well planned and insightful.

Texancoqui · Jun 2026

I used to love and praise Paula and her podcast. Sadly, I have to take a break now. It breaks my heart to see Paula defend valid criticism against appearing on Newsmax - I’m not sure why she is turning a blind eye to its journalistic flaws (look into it - anyone can probably agree it is not great for our society to have biased propaganda disguised as journalism; Newsmax reeks of “Our Dear Leader”). I hope this was just a one time error in judgment - maybe to achieve more fame and notoriety? But integrity matters, and I don’t think it’s right for Paula to trade in her credibility and journalistic standards just to get on TV “news”. I’d love to return in the future and wish Paula all the best in sorting this out.
