Helen and Olga are kindly old ladies who open their hearts and wallets to down-and-out men in Los Angeles. In a city named for angels, the two women seem heaven-sent. After one of the men is killed by a hit-and-run driver -- and then another suffers the same fate -- investigators uncover a horrifying and twisted plot that stuns even the most seasoned detectives.

What listeners say
A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.
It only took me one day to listen to this story, and it had every twist-and-turn that you could think of (plus a few you did not). Keith Morrison reading this masterpiece only made it that much better. Thank you so very much for sharing this gem with us.

The narrator’s voice was perfect, the music, the timeline, the way the podcast episodes were structured! Everything worked and worked amazingly. Felt like listening to some sort of twisted fairy tale except it was all true. If you are a true crime fan, or even if you just enjoy listening to a really high quality production, would recommend this!

It’s so good that I binged the entire season in one day! Keith did a fabulous job narrating it and despite the awful way the victims were murdered, I’m glad justice was served.

As amazing and dreadful as this story is, you would think that anyone could tell it. I don’t think so, well at least not the way Keith Morrison tells it. He is the master when it comes to recreating a story. His voice….there is just no one else like him.
