This isn’t another mindless true crime podcast. Sarah is so intentional about each person that she features and always shares how to best help these cases. I’ve never heard of many of the cases that Sarah covers and she does them in the most ethical way. Thank you Sarah for all of your hard work and kindness. There is always hope.

Updated 09/30/24 to say Sarah has gone on to help other families and share others stories. Her podcast is one of the very few true crime podcasts that I will listen to because she encourages action and does more than tell stories for entertainment. She has opened my eyes and changed my viewpoints on true crime as a genre forever. Thank you Sarah for all that you do in the true crime space, you are making a difference!

Sarah is so brave and passionate in the way that she presents her sister’s story. It takes a lot of courage to tell this story since it truly is so close to home for her. I hope they find justice for Alissa and bring some peace one day!

I am new to the podcast, but have binged the episodes about Alissa’s story all within 2 days. I am so impressed how Sarah has been able to turn tragedy into such a powerful medium for making this world better. Her calm and collected manner in relating these two emotionally poignant stories in a factual manner and trying to find justice for victims is a gift to the world, and I applaud her strength and grace

I ran across a TikTok and knew I had to listen to the podcast as Sarah’s voice is mesmerizing and I felt so broken hearted hearing about Alissa. I surprisingly was already following! I’m new to podcast but normally start at the end, I immediately went to the beginning. My hearts broken but it’s amazing podcasts with great attention to detail. She keeps it interesting though so you don’t loose interest.

The stories are interesting but the vocal fry & cadence (sounds like she’s reading 1 sentence at a time and it doesn’t “flow”) often makes it unbearable to listen to. I want to listen to the stories but sometimes I just can’t tolerate the vocal fry.

I find the information in this pod really good. The problem that I have listening to it is the way the host drawwwwws out the last letters of the last word in every single sentence. It drives me crazy. She does not do it when she voices an ad, so I’m not sure why it happens during the podcasts. Most of the time I wind up stopping halfway through which is unfortunate because the information is good.
