True Crime · WMTV
by WMTV
True Crime Wisconsin, a new weekly podcast from WMTV 15 News, goes beyond the headlines to investigate the state's most haunting unsolved cases. Wisconsin has made national news for some high-profile crimes — but not every case gets that kind of attention. Some stories fade from the spotlight, and some are never solved. Each week, WMTV 15 News digs into a different case from across Wisconsin, talking with the detectives and investigators still working to find answers, and the people who may hold the missing piece of the puzzle. The goal: bring renewed attention — and maybe new information — to cases that still need closure. The case may go cold. The questions don't. New episodes drop every week.

I loved the first podcast! The voices were crisp and clear and I learned a lot from the commentary. Can’t wait for more!
I was super excited to see this podcast and add it to my true crime collection. The first episode was a letdown. Content, story topic were great but the story telling and manner of delivery were too “Newsy”. I felt like I was listening to the 6 O”Clock news. The 3 speakers came off disjointed. I recommend a more casual, off the cuff less scripted version of banter. Less prolonging and repetition and more concise delivery of key facts and key players. I’ll listen to the next couple hopefully it adapts to listener’s feedback because this could be so good!
Good podcast so far from someone who lives in Brookfield WI and loves true crime, but please fix the audio. I hear one narrators voice in my left headphone and another voice in the right headphone. Very distracting to listen to.
The audio is mono. Recommend switching to duo so that when each reporter talks it doesn’t switch from left ear to the right. Takes away from the experience.
As someone who is hard of hearing and almost deaf in one ear I rely on headphones to listen. This podcast plays each host on one side only so when the speaker on my near-deaf side is talking I cannot hear them and when the other side is talking it’s very difficult to hear at normal volume. The back-and-forth is disorienting for my senses and makes it impossible to follow along.
