Trevor's informative and insightful, yet humorous take on these unsettling times are always just what I need at the end of the day. But what I appreciated more than ever tonight was the gravity with which he addressed America's reaction to the killing of George Floyd. Again, insightful, intelligent, and just what I needed. It nearly moved me to tears (and I almost never cry). My pastor told us on Sunday that we NEED to feel discomfort for change to happen. And Trevor is certainly working to make this happen. In the very best way. Thanks for what you do, Trevor.

A daily dose of realness! The material practically writes itself these days...but Trevor's analysis and ability to point out that which is not always apparent helps widen my perspective. It's also funny as hell.

I’ve always enjoyed the daily show even back when Jon was the host. I don’t have the time any more to watch it on Comedy Central so listening in podcast makes it very convenient. I usual listen while driving and it always improves my commute. Definitely getting better every day. Trevor is truly finding his voice in this time of crisis! Thank you for being a beacon of sanity and humor for these dark times.

What can I say about Trevor Noah. Well! This has become my daily morning commute listen. I feel like I am able to stay informed about what is currently happening each day, while also getting some funny entertainment! Trevor has a very intellectual perspective and is also hilarious. He also brings on some really great guests, like Samuel L Jackson or Hillary Clinton. I always appreciate his episodes and look forward to the next one!

I’ve long been a fan of the Daily Show and I’ve listened to this podcast every morning for years. I’ve loved the comedic lightness and dedication to the facts Trevor Noah and most of the guest hosts have brought to difficult subjects. But when I turned it on this morning, my opinion of the entire show plummeted.
To bring on as a guest host, after a lineup of the most hilarious, qualified, and trustworthy people in comedy, a man who was caught on camera committing sexual assault and was accused by a dozen more women, spits in the face of every host, crew member, and fan of the show. A man who has never apologized or even admitted to the assaults and has attempted to turn the story back on his victims and those who stood up for them, claiming himself, a serial predator, as the victim.
Does the Daily Show not care about the safety of the women who work there? You’ll notice no women were a part of his first episode. And, after a week of guests like the President and the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, his first guest is Lindsey Graham??? Just goes to show who he sees as valuable and deserving of a platform, other creepy old white men.
I felt violated by this episode. That a show I thought cared about the message they send to the world and who they give a voice to would give it to such a horrid man shatters any respect I had for the show or trust in what it’s reporters say.

I really enjoy Jon and his talented crew, but I’d like to see a more balanced approach to their punditry. It feels like they use humor as a veil for typical DNC talking points. I really respected Jon when he challenged the idea that Covid came from a lab, and was hoping for more balanced skepticism for narratives fed to us not just from the unhinged right, but also the corporatist left. For example, the recent episode featuring Barbara McQuade dives into misinformation vs disinformation, which is a fascinating topic. Unfortunately Michael Kosta doesn’t challenge her when she posits that the right is the source of all dis/misinformation. Yes, the right pushes election stealing narratives and many Russian talking points, but the left gives political shelter to antisemites on elite campuses, and BLM has posted support for October 7th on Instagram. The Biden administration strong armed Facebook from sharing legitimate, Stanford studies on the efficacy of shutdowns. The Biden administration lied about the President’s fitness for a very long time—which to Jon’s credit he challenged. But The Daily Show is not the Onion, and has a responsibility to be more than pundits for the left.
