But you have to get the subscription to fully enjoy it. That’s not to say that there aren’t great free episodes, but the best content is the one you pay less than five bucks a month for. I only pay for one other podcast monthly, but out of the 20 podcasts I regularly rotate, this is easily the most entertaining. It’s super dark and mysterious. The host stays hidden and isn’t looking for limelight. His calm voice with the very quiet production is something unmatched in the world of podcasts. I can’t say enough good things about it. I think we all know that the world is shady, but you won’t know the half of it until you listen to this amazing podcast. Love, love, love “Swindled”. Gonna go buy my “Corporate” sweatshirt right now. I’m obsessed with this podcast and listen to it every night to fall asleep. The voice, dry jokes, and content are all top tier. I find myself trying to listen to other podcasts and stopping because their voices don’t sound the same. Keep being the best!

My all-time favorite podcast, even turned me into a subscriber and I hate paying for anything. He gets to the point and focuses on the interesting aspects of each story, using real recordings or reading primary sources instead of doing dramatic reenactments or having forced conversation with a co-producer. This isn't a background noise podcast; you need to pay attention to get the full value. It is worth it. Sometimes the editorializing gets to be a bit much, but who wouldn't be bitter after reporting on all this malfeasance?
