For years, some law enforcement agencies have replaced the faces of traditional playing card decks with images of missing and murdered people and distributed those cards in prisons hoping inmates would come forward with information needed to crack these cold cases wide open.
Now, audiochuck is dealing you in.
Each week, we will be working with investigators and family members to bring you the details of some of the coldest cases from around the country in hopes that someone listening can finally bring these victims the justice they deserve.

I love this podcast and crime junkie. The way the stories are told is extremely captivating. However, several of the episodes have garbled audio files where it seems to skip to future parts of the episode only to circle back later. Hard to describe exactly, but very weird and it seems like I’m missing whole parts of the story actually.

I applaud Ashley Flowers and the Crime Junkie team for this podcast. They did an excellent job of thoroughly researching and interviewing the people involved with these cases. Kudos to all the dedicated detectives as well. You can tell how deeply invested and impacted everyone is. Very sad the podcast is over, although I understand and respect the decision. Hoping one day it might resume.

Out of all the Audiochuck pods, this one is my favorite and I’m devastated to hear it’s ending. I wish that someone else at Audiochuck could pick up the torch and keep this going. Out of everything Audiochuck puts out, this pod seems like one that really could make a difference. Considering that’s what Ashley Flowers prides herself on doing when telling true crime stories, the action of ending this pod but continuing others seems out of line with her words. I am pretty disappointed with Audiochuck’s decision to end this but continue others like Crime Junkie, Park Predators, Full Body Chills, etc.

This and all of Ashley’s other podcasts used to be my go to’s BUT the level of greed that drives a person to do over half of any half hour podcast in ads must run deep. It is insanely excessive how over the top they have went with it. It was never like this in the beginning and no other podcast is this excessive when it comes to ads. Just leaves a bad taste in your mouth especially knowing how many podcasts she is doing this on! I have since unsubscribed from all of them. The minor amount of content in each episode isn’t worth the time.

More genuine empathy and fewer sensation adjectives and sound effects would be so much less cringey. It's a shame because the research seems good. One of those exploitive shows family members probably endure for the sake of exposure but shouldn't have to.
