Sidequesting

This podcast is so wholesome. Every episode gives you a short slice of life adventure, giving you pieces of what this world is like. There’s magic, fae, trolls, knights - your classic fantasy story. I also love that this podcast is just like doing side quests in an MMORPG game, hence the title. Side quests give you EXPerience, new gear, more lore, relationship points - just like Rion and the people they meet on their journey. So yes, while Rion might one day face the big bad evil wizard (they’ve got that magical sword after all), why not take some time along the way to help out the people of the world? Because that’s what a real hero does - they don’t just take care of the villain, they also help others along the way.

I love it whenever something has positive LGBTQIA+ representation and I love fantasy and sci-fi content, especially D&D style stuff. Also, this podcast is TOTALLY kid-friendly, and in my opinion LGBTQIA+ representation makes things better

Such a kind, thoughtful show. Regularly relisten. Downloaded Apple Podcasts just to leave a review. 5 stars isn’t enough

Exploring oneself is just as important as exploring the world around you, I think this podcast does brilliantly with that concept. There are many audio dramas out there that will give you high fantasy and dire quests and plots upon plots but sometimes you just need to relax with a quest as important as getting a cat out of a tree because that's just as meaningful as anything else.
