Shane is a fine interviewer but often fails to ask the follow-ups to demand proof for the claims of his guests. Example: a claim of being debanked by one of the wealthiest men in the country. Follow-up: why didn’t you sue?

Your new podcast was immediately added to my list of “never miss podcasts. It reminds me of the original VICE shows I loved so much. Maybe it’s just your voice lol. You also killed on Rogan and you guys both said exactly what I was thinking. I think your podcast needs to slim down. We tune in to hear you and the guests. Drop the dramatic music and just have a conversation. Doesn’t matter if the episode ends up being 45 minutes or 3 hours. The people will listen to you just like they do Rogan! Oh and you’re a great American Mr. Smith

I have listened to most of the episodes and am a big fan! I’ve loved Vice and really enjoyed the channel and the amazing journalism! Shane is the OG of gonzo journalism! Ali’s the recent episode with Hamliton was so good! I wish he had his own podcast! I will definitely be buying his book! I do wish Shane didn’t cut him off so much as I really wanted to hear a few of those stories more! I love Hamiltons Pharmacopiea and really wish he still had his own show! I have always felt the same way about drugs and society and don’t understand the perception problem in our current culture as it is a people problem not a drug problem! There is so much more to learn but yet science is stifled by people with influence. Hamilton I wish you had your own show again and I could hear you more! You have always been an amazing journalist and you tackle things with scientific curiosity and use facts and data to drive your investigation! So good!
