Love this pod. Well researched, and great deep dives. Surprisingly, this show about the worst people in history isn’t just fascinating, it’s hilarious! I cackle out loud while listening in public and in my car. Can’t recommend it enough.

I really want to like the show because the topics and coverage is so interesting, but I can’t stand the hosts and their dynamic. They don’t actually seem to like talking to each other, and the constant talking over each other makes it seem like a competition. The lead guy especially seems dismissive of guests and other cohosts’ input, and their humor doesn’t click so jokes fall flat between them. The hosts don’t really make an effort to engage with guests, which makes me wonder why they bother having guests on - I only hear guest commentary if they fight to get a word in, otherwise they get talked over and ignored. I think the show has a really great foundation with the topics and research, but right now the execution and tense interpersonal dynamics make it painful to get through. I really hope they are able to cultivate a more engaging dynamic, so listeners can learn more about the actual topics they’re covering, without facing obstacles in how they’re covering them.

I have to admit, I think I would disagree with about 70% of the hosts views, but I really enjoy listening to this show. He/they present interesting topics and go into some previously (for me) unheard parts of history. I’m interested in all aspects of history and this show really is interesting to me. I know I have a lot of snide comments in my head as I’m listening but I always come away feeling like I learned things I probably wouldn’t have from other sources. I enjoy hearing different views on various topics whether they change my stance or not. Well worth a listen!

I love how much this podcast makes me laugh, even when talking about HORRIBLE people. I know the facts and stats and listening to Robert and hosts just completely wreck the pieces of S makes learning more “fun.” We know they’re terrible but that doesn’t mean they should be ignored or forgotten. Keep going please!

This has so much potential to be good but the hosts are not at all entertaining or professional. Between the unfunny jokes, inappropriate laughter during serious topics and talking over each other, it’s annoying. It’s obnoxious. It’s unlistenable. How this gets so much praise is beyond me.

This podcast is cool and interesting but you guys do not let your female guests speak. Both males constantly interrupt and talk over the female guests (Sophie and Katy most recently). I’m interested in hearing their thoughts and I haven’t been able to because you won’t let them finish.
