I adore this podcast! Just a hair older than these ladies, it’s so nice to finally find a podcast that I can relate to. I have recommended this podcast (especially to one friend in particular, who like these ladies, we have a real friendship that consists of laughter, real talk, some swearing and zero judgement!) Thanks from Maryland (in US).
I just wanted to say I am only on my second episode and I am hooked! These ladies are not only educated and skilled with real world experience. They don’t make you feel dumb. They are real, honest and hilarious. Their struggles shows us we are not alone. I only wished I had found this when it originally came out.
I cannot say enough good things about this podcast. It has become one of my favorite weekly rituals- on one hand I love learning about different self care ideas and options. But on the other hand, I laugh hysterically every time. Nicole + Lauren are best girlfriends I haven’t yet met. Thanks ladies- I just love it!
I started counseling in early 2020. When discussing my priorities in life, my counselor asked “where does self care fit into this?” My response was “it doesn’t, I just do it once in a while. But you asking that is making me think that it might need to be a higher priority”. After that session, my mind was spinning wondering what the heck self-care even was. I figured there might be a podcast that could help me figure that out. I was so incredibly excited to find this one! I’ve been listening in since the 4th week of this podcast and it has been so eye-opening and helpful in my journey to do the hard internal work and learn to fill my own cup. Lauren and Nicole are like big sisters, teaching me what forms self-care can take and reminding me bi-weekly to make it a priority. Your timing in starting this podcast was impeccable, like a sign from God that it was time for me to do the work. I’ve tried many of your practices. My favorites that I still strive to practice include face yoga, saying no, setting boundaries, and no complaining (this one helped so much at work and at home). Thank you Lauren and Nicole for being vulnerable, fun, and for guiding us to a place where we are equipped to be strong women!
