This podcast is light hearted, funny, and engaging. With guests that jest and guess with equal enthusiasm, while still allowing us at home to guess (and yell out the answer we have long figured out). The running joke of Tom’s ancient-ness tickles me pink, and, as an American, I for one am all for the translations of British turns of phrase. If for no other reason than to feel good that I guessed correctly. All in all, an outstanding show which is always chipper and challenging in all the right ways! Keep up the great work!

What a gem! I discovered this after Tom Scott was on an episode of SciShow Tangents and am SO GLAD I decided to check it out. It's like this was made specifically for my weird little brain. Just an absolute joy. If you are into curiosity and a good old Wikipedia rabbit hole you will love this show!

Lateral is singularly my favorite podcast! My brain gets a workout and Tom always keeps the show flowing along with his incredible guests! When I actually beat the panel to an answer it makes my week!

I’d give this show 6 stars if I could. Fantastic format, great guests, lots of laughs, and plenty of pondering.
