I have been listening to this podcast since day one and these fellas make me laugh laugh laugh! I look forward to spending my Wednesday’s with these two each week and cannot recommend this podcast enough. The episode “Damned and Lowly Favored” with Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson can brighten even my downest of days. I appreciate the culture, the joy, the friendship, and the LOL silliness. I will be a Reader 5eva.

Matt and Bowen put their hearts into this show week after week. Their friendship is hilarious and tender, their takes are as thoughtful as they are laugh out loud funny and unhinged, and they never cease to brighten my day every Wednesday. Las cultch is a pure delight. These boys brought me so much light and laughter during quarantine and I haven’t stopped listening since.

Las Culturistas is hands-down one of the sharpest, funniest, and most engaging podcasts out there. Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers’ chemistry is electric, and their wit is unmatched. Whether they’re breaking down pop culture or diving into personal stories, the conversation always feels fresh and hilarious. It’s impossible not to be hooked from the first listen. Truly a must for anyone who loves smart, biting humor and a deep dive into all things culture.

Love this podcast, love Matt and Bowen as a duo, and glad Bowen is back! So nice that they are both honest about living with waves of depression, appreciating therapy and the realities of trying meds (and realizing that some meds may not be for you). It really does help destigmatize mental health needs by exposing more people to these conversations. Also, this is from an old episode, but Bowen talking about the fun parks in NY and Matt pretending that Central Park was essentially worthless made me smile.

Have listened before, dropped off, returned after that viral Tina Fey excerpt about authenticity. I think they’re really struggling with that. In a recent episode they tell everyone to take it easy on Bowen’s friend Ariana but then go really hard on Kate Middleton as if she’s devoid of humanity. Didn’t you just say to avoid harshly criticizing public figures when you don’t really know what’s going on in their lives? But then they insist that they’re not treating Ariana differently now cuz she’s a close friend of Bowen’s. I think it’s human to treat someone more compassionately once you’ve become close, but I find it off-putting that they deny they’re doing so.

an entire vapid discussion of taylor swift with no mention of the current genocide + the students (many of whom account for your beloved listeners) attacked for speaking up on it. i understand this is a pop culture podcast but there are plenty of moments matt and bowen delve into serious topics and politics unrelated to entertainment. this is a moment of consequence… why won’t you say something?
