Prof. Loehr’s research identifying the eugenics movement as the origin of habitual sentencing laws (Ep. 3) is truly groundbreaking. The 5 problems with habitual sentencing laws make it easy to wrap your head around and share, and the personal stories of the people snd communities these wasteful, inhuman laws destroy make the series unforgettable.
