I look forward to every Army of Normal Folks episode. The stories of those who step up to meet a need and the shop talk episodes always inspire me to do better. Thanks for all you do to bring us the stories that encourage us to do more than status quo!

Carol Roper · Jun 2025

I was inspired by Monica Kelsey and her safe baby boxes to where I approached our local fire station. They were not receptive to the idea, as the station is not manned Full-time. So I approached our nurse manager in the OB unit at the hospital that I work at , I told her about the program and sent her information. She was more than receptive. She is currently working on getting a baby box for the OB unit of our hospital. It’s a process, but at least our small community will hopefully have a baby box in the near future.
