Torn because it is such a fun podcast to listen to, but it is regularly infuriating to hear small assumptions made about how they are a cut above others- if they enjoy something, it is turned into something the rest of us could learn from; if they don’t enjoy something or know about something, it’s worthless. Not a very curious way to be in the world

I wanted to find a new Bach podcast, but this one is unlistenable between the woman performatively cackling at her husband’s extremely unfunny “jokes”, the random singing, the condescension, and the endless ads. Keep looking!
