I’ve been watching and listening to Fast Money for many years. Normally insightful, and always entertaining. Melissa is a great host and the contributors are well picked. I do get very annoyed when politics, regardless of the persuasion, weighs too heavily and consistently during a contributor’s commentary, but has CNBC has always had that. You normally have a few overly biased, political surrogates on both sides. This wasn’t as prevalent on Fast Money until recently.
Perfect recap of market activity for the day. I also liked options action and miss that. But we should include that here too. Melissa keeps everyone on track and is awesome!
Entertaining and educational. I much prefer this show to the news. Seems to focus a lot on bigger brands, which is fine. I really enjoy hearing both sides and the idea of covered calls. I also learned quite a bit about quite a few obscure industrial companies. I watch or listen to the podcast every day and take notes.
I enjoy listening to the podcast while I walk. One thing I wish they would do is repeat the ticker symbol you’re talking about. Sometimes I have to go back through the podcast and figure out what you’re even talking about because you’ll go on and on about how well or whatever opinion you have on the company and if you miss the ticker symbol or company name, I have no idea what you’re talking about.
For their prospective client's sake, it's very fortunate these panelists don't actually manage money. They do however talk prodigiously about managing money. Their insights into the market's movement give credence to the adage: "It's diifficult to make predictions, especially about the future". Melissa Lee remains the prime attraction to 'Fast Money".
