First time listener here, and I am absolutely blown away by the episode with Vice President Kamala Harris. To hear a conversation about a woman’s right to her own bodily autonomy discussed with such respect, while holding a depth of empathy no cisgender man could ever even come close to, was refreshing to say the least. It incited a hope in me that our future will bring more freedom over ourselves. I appreciate the depth and thoughtfulness of the questions Alex asked Harris. She was not afraid to get personal, and Harris was not afraid to open up to her. The conversation was raw and real and showed the level of humanity we all should strive for. I also respect Alex as an interviewer, because she continued the conversation by asking Harris questions that held her accountable, such as how she will help our generation combat the issues we are most impacted by, examples being student debt, the housing crisis, and the overall cost of living that stops so many from wanting to have a family. Alex was very prepared and thoughtful with her interviewing, and she used the 40 minutes she was allowed with the Vice President with the utmost respect for the importance it provided. I was absolutely enthralled the entire episode.

The episode featuring the Vice President discussing women’s issues is one of the best. It’s incredibly refreshing to see two women engaging in this conversation, rather than the usual male politicians who have never faced these challenges themselves. I found it so eye opening and I encourage others to listen, regardless of political party. Thank you for using your platform in this way!

The recent discussion on abortion with VP Harris fell short of the thoughtful and nuanced conversation such a sensitive topic deserves. Alex clearly didn’t do her homework. The episode lacked depth, with little focus on legal, social, or emotional dimensions. While *Call Her Daddy* is known for its casual and unfiltered style, this approach felt ill-suited for a subject as serious and personal as abortion.

I have loved every episode of Call her Daddy up until the episode with Chelsea Handler. Two grown women doing drugs together and promoting it as cool while trying to podcast together was incredibly unprofessional. I was cringing at every word and was shocked that she would ever want to release this episode. It came across as trashy and disgusted me. Drug use should never be promoted as a good time, I have seen countless lives affected by drug use.
