What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Heard Ann first when she was subbing for one of the guys on Morning Brew. Was impressed then and months later after listening to her own podcast, even more so. Worked in finance for years but still learn new things from Ann (or get refreshed). Her interviews are good too. She lets her interviewees expand on their topics, but will gently bring them back to answer the question at the time, and her knowledge and research can important my deflate someone who can conflate or misconstrue financial important information. She does it respectfully as sometimes people get excited or misspeak but it’s important because listeners should not be mislead. Thanks Ann and John (producer) for your hard work while making it fun and interesting!

Great idea, love markets and there are some insightful takes on smaller deals here and there, but I think generally too much time is spent covering the exact same stories as morning brew daily. A lot of those sections could be abbreviated or even mentioned quickly as “see morning brew daily today for more info” and actually dive into the finance behind it but don’t regurgitate the same information. That way you actually give MBD more promo without necessarily being overly repetitive.
