What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Your interviews are all very good- but Pamela’s journey was amazing. I was so impressed with how she learned to love herself first so she could give herself and her nine children a better life. She is an inspiration.

Beshya · Jun 2026

This guy gets some really incredible guests to come on, and asks great questions. There’s a lovely inquisitive nature without it being invasive. The guests all seem totally up for it too. Which considering some of their situations, is what really makes this special.

ffeerrtt · Jun 2026

I’m enjoying this podcast so sincerely! Every episode is compelling and eye opening. I went to school to learn how to connect with people, and Julian inspires me to perform better in my job. One of the best podcasts out there!

Yelyah4455 · Jun 2026

This podcast is my new favorite binge! Such fascinating stories and the host is an expert interviewer while staying so personal and fun.

Maiyita · Apr 2026

Why ask Bernadine Beyale to be on this episode when Thomas McNally spoke the entire time? If you are going to highlight the work she does then give her some air time and recognize that the high rate of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls isn’t new, it has been and still is a crisis. While the episode was specific to Melissa Casias, she’s an indigenous woman, and the lack of attention and effort by law enforcement is important to recognize —— not as a single incident but a widespread issue.

NitpickingNick · May 2026

Of this man asking Lily Phillips questions from his clearly judgmental perspective on sex work, to his obvious discontent with her saying that she enjoys this work and her explanation about her pretty neutral/positive experience w the 100 men, then to end the episode calling her a savvy political operator or whatever, basically saying that we couldn’t trust what this woman said about HER OWN EXPERIENCE, and then to host another episode psycho analyzing her with his girlfriend. Unfollow. Why invite a woman to share her experience only to completely question the validity of her perspective based on your own assumptions and judgments. The audacity.
