There aren’t many podcasts like this one in the Zen world — and for good reason. This is sometimes a more technical “how to” podcast, and usually Zen frowns on providing too much guidance. There is room for one or two though, and I’m glad this is one of those. Domyo does a great job filling this niche.
I love this podcast. There’s so much information on Zen Buddhism and other styles of Buddhism. Domyo Burk is well spoken and the episodes are organized and informative. Thank you!
Some people may think that this isn’t a podcast for them as they just want to know about Buddhism. She covers all aspects of Buddhism in the history, practices and will answer questions regarding Buddhism. A following of Zen principles is not necessary. All Buddhists believe the same basic precepts and truths. They differ a great deal in the practices. If you want a basic grounding in Buddhism this is the podcast. Look back at her previous podcasts and you can choose what to listen to. It is excellent!!
Thorough, accessible and smart. Perfect for beginners like myself or long time practitioners!
