What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

This is a great podcast telling really important stories. Elizabeth does such a great job hosting and talking to other survivors. Removed one star because HOLY ADS! Not only are the ads are extremely jarring (you’re hearing about the worst moment in someone’s life and then it switches to a jaunty tune selling something), but there are also WAY too many.

JenniferAnne · Sep 2026

This is my favorite podcast. We hear the stories from the survivors themselves. Their resilience is truly inspirational. I love how Elizabeth interacts with her guests. Her compassion and empathy is incredible. I think the impact of a podcast like this is stronger because Elizabeth is a survivor too. I appreciate hearing her perspective as well as her guests.

LBZED2 · Sep 2026

Elizabeth brings experience with the topic and elevates the conversation. I think this a natural fit for her and I’m enjoying the dialogue between her and her guests. I have two suggestions. The narration speed of her is different than when she is interviewing. It’s too slow and just needs to be sped up. Last, maybe make the episodes longer. I think a longer interview will add value.

Haudoin · Sep 2026

These survivor stories are compelling, and Elizabeth’s compassion comes through in the interviews and storytelling. The accounts evoke a feeling of tragedy at what the survivors suffered through and at the same time joy at how they come through on the other end. They are a great listen.
