This story is obviously not all that interesting or complex because the first two episodes are extremely slow, an instance of dragging out the material for the sake of ad revenue. It’s also an instance of the media’s obsession with “perfect” white women/girls. Some losses are greater than others, they encourage us to believe. This genre is growing tiresome and this production is a prime reminder of its flaws
