Perfect balance of storytelling, smart analysis and professional perspectives. Bravo!
I first heard these two on this podcast after listening to CJ but found AOM, soon I was waiting for the AOM episode so much more than any other podcast. I’m so happy Scott and Anna are back, the way they take you through a story, the methodology, the insight, the storytelling is just a bar above the rest. There are a lot of armchair/internet podcasters with opinions without the experience and this is why this podcast stands above the rest because there is that experience, the in depth behind the scenes nail biting, gut wrenching experience that can’t be duplicated by individuals who have never actually don’t the work… the ones that have never stood toe toe to with an actual killer.
On a lark, I did a search to see what Anna-Sigga and Scott were up to and it was just two weeks after H360 dropped. I couldn’t believe my luck. I subscribed immediately. It was like catching up with old friends. I felt lost without AOM. Thankfully, I had not listened to every single AOM and I used the interim to catch up. They certainly kept the heart and soul of the old show. I’m so glad they kept a lot of the old team together as well. This remains at the top of my listen to list. I love true crime podcast, and documentaries, and no one takes the approach that these folks do. Other podcasts rehash what we have heard over and over. H360 shows compassion for the victims without sensationalizing the crime. They ought to be very proud of themselves. Congratulations on a job well done.
So grateful I found this podcast. I was so sad when I found out they weren’t doing the other one anymore (and the reasons why). But I’ve always loved listening to them. I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts, but their style is - by far - my favorite. They break down the crimes and how they’re investigated and prosecuted. But they also really honor the victims and survivors. I value their perspectives and opinions on cases, and I love how they include the voices of those involved directly with the cases. It reminds me that these are real people and not just stories. I highly recommend listening to these two!
