I’m a mark for most of the wrestling podcast. I listened to the first show expecting mostly wrestling content, however what I got was much better. Wrestling loosely keeps the show tied together. The replay value on the episodes are excellent. I’ve listened to several shows while at work, and it’s made the night shift pass a little quicker.
Raven once again finds a way to get attention, but this time with the absolute bare minimum effort and brings the maximum out of it. An ingenious mix of crude humor, genuine talks about real life moments and people, and polished off by the lax work ethic makes it all come together. Enjoyably childish and worth a listen for sure.
Raven and (his many cohosts) are very entertaining. It makes my car ride to work so much better. They read my fan mail on 3 different episodes. That’s awesome!
It's like hanging out with your two friends, where one just happens to be a famous pro wrestler ...and the other is Hollywood screen writer/avant guard clown. It's weird. It's funny. It's probably a little too inside... BUT if you take the time to get in groove with the show, you won't want to miss it
Not a five star podcast, even though he’s begging for five star ratings. A horrible podcast, that’s only saved by the co-host, Busby. While he’s an actual comedian, and brings something to this podcast, he can’t make up for the host who is either yelling “Callback!” on jokes told months before, saying “you know” every other word when trying to get serious, or making horrible sex jokes that would even make a randy 13 year old embarrassed. And I say this as a fan of Raven in his wrestling years. I write this review right after listening to his next to last episode, realizing he will never tell the stories he’s promised for months... if he got enough favorable reviews. I hope he puts much more effort into his next podcast, because this one was mostly abysmal. And good luck to Busby in his future endeavors. Hopefully his career will take off after being unchained from this garbage.
