There’s a lot here that’s difficult and upsetting to listen to - about the crimes committed and also the system itself. Excellent reporting that shows one of the harshest aspects of our “justice” system from many angles without proposing any kind of solution or smoothing over of the many rough edges and contradictions.

This is a well made podcast and taught me about the legal system. Not much happens in the story, though, and it could have been told in fewer episodes.

Some of my favorite reporting from this group. Loved hearing the thought processes on the effects from chatting with Marcia; very intuitive and thought provoking. But hard to listen to the sympathy for David Woods who stole the lives from so many. Whether you choose to believe he is guilty of murders or not, he did admit to stealing the lives from so many other victims and does not show an ounce of remorse. Tough listen for that reason. I can appreciate the genuine commentary either way, I guess.
