This is a really unique and interesting podcast from 2 of the most accomplished individuals in academia. They are both incredibly thoughtful and intelligent and I learn something new every time I listen.

I appreciate the candor and deliberate consideration of the issues. I love the discussions with John. You both approach issues intelligently, try to steelman counter arguments, and are willing to accept new ideas and change your mind when needed. I respect your ideas and perspectives and love how well you communicate them. I don’t always agree, but I always learn about the issues and how to better communicate.

Doctor Loury and Doctor MacWhorter routinely provide a colorful, thoughtful and balanced commentary on current events. They don’t always agree on things but they always give a masterclass on how to respectfully listen and learn from others. This is one of the consistently high-quality op-ed podcasts available.

Glenn Loury and regular co-host John McWhorter offer thoughtful heterodox views on a range of issues of the day. I like how they break things down and show a willingness to challenge their own thinking. I wish more media were like this.
